National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program

Help Promote the GRFP

Thank you for your interest in helping to promote the GRFP.  Having already experienced the application process, and knowing what comes along with being a GRFP Fellow, we invite you to help promote the GRFP to future applicants.   Students react very positively to current and former Fellows who speak on behalf of their GRFP experience.

Peers in your labs, coworkers, the students you teach, members of student organizations and clubs are all potential applicants with whom you have direct contact.  Download and disseminate GRFP student handouts and posters to those who would be interested in receiving graduate funding.

We highly encourage you to use the GRFP PowerPoint presentation to present to potential applicants at your institution.

Also, during the course of the academic year, we travel to universities and conferences in order to discuss the GRFP with students, fellows, faculty, and staff.  During such visits, if you are interested in attending a presentation and sharing your experiences, please notify us.

We thank you for your efforts in advance.  With your help we can introduce this excellent program to an ever widening and deserving audience!
